Riding Camp
For girls aged 8 to 12 seeking an immersive riding experience tailored to their needs, our program offers small cohorts of 8 or less campers each session, focused on intensive instruction. While our lesson horses and facility cater primarily to Event riders, we warmly welcome participants from all disciplines.
Our curriculum is rooted in classical methods and delivered through group lessons with 4 riders. Individual sessions with our experienced staff are also utilized as necessary to address any specific skill gaps identified during the camp.
Setting and achieving goals is central to our program. All riders are required to maintain daily journals, facilitated by provided templates, for invaluable self-evaluation. Rider-focused yoga and conditioning sessions are integrated into our daily activities, ensuring both hard work and enjoyment. Off-horse activities such as swimming, hiking, paddle boarding, and sand volleyball complement the rigorous training regimen.
Meals, thoughtfully prepared with farm-fresh or locally sourced ingredients, feature cooked-to-order breakfast and lunch, and family-style dinners.

Safety is paramount in our approach. On the first day, riders learn essential techniques for falling safely and how to handle common riding scenarios that may lead to injury. Rest assured, our Director, a trained trauma nurse, is equipped to handle any injuries, from minor to more serious.
We attend to all the details of your camper's stay. Our bunkhouse accommodates campers with that include ample storage and private bathroom/shower facilities. Bedding, towels, and basic toiletries are provided for convenience. While riding pants and boots are mandatory, fun "uniform" t-shirts and shorts can be purchased through our website and will be waiting in your camper's bunk upon arrival. For longer stays, laundry service is included.
