If you have never ridden at Stratton-Ridge, but are interested in show coaching please message us!

Riders interested in attending the shows posted on the special events tab please RSVP.  Only RSVP for the USEA events if you are prepared to ride a dressage test with a canter AND ride cross-country.  Combined Test entries, which allows dressage Intro test A combined with a cross-rail jumper round, will only be available at the schooling shows.  Anyone interested in additional shows can find other events on the Area V Calendar.

 

The 2025 Eventing Season is underway!   There are 2 show options most months but we won't travel unless there are at least 3 riders going.  We reserve the right to limit the numbers of riders on the travel team based on rider preparation. ​​​

There are links below to the Dressage test that we believe current riders will be working on for 2025.  I am working on finding videos for each test so check back often.   EVERYONE should also watch this video from the USEA in which the test writer talks about what judges are looking for in each test.

Riders participating in Eventing should consider joining the South Texas Eventing Association.  This organization will give riders a chance to win year end awards.  Riders participating in Dressage should consider joining Houston Dressage Society to qualify for the championships.  STEA and HDS are local organizations.  The US EVENTING Assocation and The US EQUESTRIAN Federation are national organizations for riders competing more aggressively.  They will keep track of rider and horse stats year over year and will be useful for anyone wanting to build a "resume" for college.

USEA Regional Championships

Riders at the STARTER LEVEL placing 1st through 5th an any USEA event in a class of 5 or greater qualify.

USEA National Championships

Riders at the STARTER LEVEL placing first or second and completing 3 USEA events in the year qualify.
